LMCTV is proud to present Mamaroneck filmmaker Jim Desmond’s Free at Last a documentary about the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s organization of the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign. Desmond had exclusive access to Dr. King and the documentary provides incredible insight and personal moments. This film is not to be missed and we are fortunate to have such rare access to this film.
The film will air on LMCTV’s
channels 75 Optimum and 36 Verizon Fios on
Monday, January 20 @ 8:30pm with re-airings on
Tuesday, January 21 @ 2:30am, 8:30am, and 2:30pm.
The 33rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration was held on Sunday, January 12 at the Hommocks Middle School. The event was presented by the Larchmont Mamaroneck Human Rights Committee and sponsored in part by CURE (Coalition of Understanding Racism through Education) and the Community Resource Center of Mamaroneck.
