Please join LMC Media as we honor an incredible community leader and media professional from the Sound Shore area. J. B. Miller’s career and community service will be celebrated as part of our annual Gala’s festivities. He is a stalwart supporter of LMC Media and is extremely committed to our mission and success.

About J. B. Miller

J. B. Miller is an Emmy Award-winning producer with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. As President & CEO of Empire Entertainment, which he founded in 1993, Miller has produced thousands of major events worldwide for high-profile clients including Google, Microsoft, The Walt Disney Company, the United Nations, and the Gates Foundation. His work spans corporate events, television, film, livestreams, and large-scale global productions.

His career includes producing premier events such as the TIME 100 Gala, Tribeca Film Festival, The Webby Awards, and The Clinton Global Initiative’s Global Citizen Awards. He has booked and worked with top-tier talent including Aerosmith, Alicia Keys, Elton John, Sting, Jay-Z, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and the Dalai Lama, among many others.

A 40-year veteran in the entertainment, media and events industries, J. B. is more ambitious and optimistic than ever about the potential for live media, events and experiential storytelling to drive growth, progress and positive change. His company, Empire Entertainment, has a tagline of “We Produce Moments That Matter,” which aligns perfectly with LMC Media’s mission. J. B. dedicates his time to several nonprofit organizations, but he has a deep commitment to the mission of LMC Media.

J. B. is a licensed aircraft pilot, an experienced sailor and drummer, a second-degree black belt rank in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys skiing, paragliding, sailing and world travel.  A resident of Larchmont, he enjoys living in the Sound Shore area with his wife and family and can frequently be seen at community events in the area.
